This South Florida wedding wasn’t just a celebration—it was an experience. A vibrant, emotional, and joy-filled 3-day Indian wedding that happened to fall during the most magical time of the year: Christmas.

Blending rich cultural traditions with festive holiday energy, this wedding gave us everything we love as storytellers—emotion, movement, color, and meaning. From the Mendhi and Sangeet to the Barat and breathtaking ceremony, every moment was cinematic in its own way.

🎄💍 The Celebration: Three Days of Culture, Color, and Connection

Indian weddings are known for their vibrance and depth—and this one was no exception. The celebration unfolded across multiple events:

  • Day 1: Mehndi NightAn intimate pre-wedding evening filled with music, family blessings, and stunning henna artistry.

  • Day 2: Sangeet + Welcome PartyA night of performances, dances, and heartfelt speeches under twinkle lights and bold color palettes.

  • Day 3: Ceremony + ReceptionFrom the groom’s energetic Barat arrival to the emotional Varmala exchange and the luxury ballroom reception, every part of the day was intentional, joyful, and beautifully paced.

🎥 How We Filmed It: Energy Meets Elegance

Capturing a multi-day wedding means shifting styles, lenses, and tone depending on the moment. Our goal was to create a film that felt like a full story arc—not just a highlight reel. We mixed aerial shots, slow-motion close-ups, and natural audio from family and friends to keep the pacing emotional and immersive.

🎞 Yes, we cried editing it.

🕯️ The Holiday Twist: A Christmas Wedding Like No Other

There’s something extra magical about a wedding during the holidays—but this one was completely unique. With red and gold accents, string lights, and festive music, the Christmas spirit met cultural richness in the most beautiful way.

From a winter-themed reception entrance to candlelit portraits, we leaned into the seasonal magic while honoring the traditions of both families.

📸 Favorite Moments We Captured:

  • The bride’s henna-covered hands holding her mother’s

  • Groom’s Barat dance as drums echoed through the street

  • Vows exchanged beneath a floral mandap wrapped in holiday lights

  • Emotional speeches during the Sangeet

  • Guests dancing in traditional attire with full hearts and full plates
